Who we are
Salida Produce, which buys and brokers produce with pickup at the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market. Salida Produce is a trade name of Taste of Puebla Inc. Reach us at (484) 787-5229.
What we collect
- From your request: company, name, mobile, email if you add one, language, photos, load details and notes.
- Automatically: a salted hash of your IP address (not the address itself), browser type and timestamps.
- On your phone only: a saved draft, your recent loads and your contact details, kept in your browser's storage. They never reach us unless you send them.
Why we use it
To answer your request, send the updates you asked for, arrange pickup and payment, and keep the records that PACA and food-traceability rules require.
Who receives it
- Our hosting provider, and our text and email providers only to deliver messages.
- In a broker deal, the buyer receives the lot details and your company name.
- In a donation pickup, the nonprofit partner receives the lot details.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, for example a traceability records request.
We do not sell your data, we show no advertising, and we use no tracking cookies or analytics.
How long we keep it
Transaction records for at least 2 years after a deal closes. Photos uploaded but never sent are deleted after 48 hours. What is stored on your phone stays there until you use "Forget this phone" or clear your browser.
Text messages
We text you only about loads you sent, and only if you agreed with the checkbox on the contact step. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Agreeing is not required to sell to us.
Your choices
You can correct your contact details at any time and ask us to delete what we hold. Deletion is limited by the records the law requires us to keep.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections. Staff sign in to see loads, and each load's status page needs its own private link.
Changes
When this notice changes, the version and date at the top change with it.
